This build posed significant planning and execution to fabricate, build and test multiple studio facilities for University of the Arts, London. The site posed tight access restrictions which had to be carefully managed. Our teams hit expected targets and delivered excellent results giving staff and students high quality recording rooms, mixing rooms and a 5.1 surround sound room for the degree courses.
The Project Specifics
- Offsite Pre Fabrication of floor and wall sections
-Transport logistics of multiple tons of delicate materials into zone 1, London.
-Detailed marking and setting out for 5 new studio facilities around existing fixtures around multiple obstacles
-Manageing teams of installers and fitters to hit tight deadlines
-Liasing with designers, University staff, HVAC engineers, Electricians, Structural engineers, Studio equipment installers and established studio designers.
